Understanding Your Property Taxes

Property taxes fund essential community services such as schools, public safety, infrastructure, and local government operations. While many agencies are involved in the property tax process, the Hendry County Tax Collector’s Office plays a key role in collecting and distributing property taxes once they are assessed.

Our goal is to make the process clear, transparent, and convenient – whether you’re paying early to take advantage of discounts, managing installment payments, or looking for answers about your tax bill. This page serves as your starting point for all property tax-related services and tools.
