As a partner of the Florida Department of Health’s Bureau of Vital Statistics, the Hendry County Tax Collector’s Office is proud to offer certified Florida birth certificate services at our LaBelle and Clewiston offices. This convenient service helps make it easier for Florida-born citizens to obtain important documents close to home, especially when applying for a driver license or identification card, where a certified birth certificate may be required.
At this time, birth certificate services are temporarily unavailable due to a statewide software upgrade with the Florida Department of Health’s Bureau of Vital Statistics. During this temporary interruption, local county health departments and the State Office remain available to assist customers with obtaining certified birth certificates either online or in person.
We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to continuing to serve our community once the system is restored.
