Renewing Your Florida Registration

Keeping your vehicle registration current is required by Florida law. The Hendry County Tax Collector’s Office offers several convenient options to renew your registration online, by mail, or in person at either of our office locations.

You will not be able renew your registration online if your renewal notice contains any messages regarding insurance needed, customer or registration stops found. Click here to check for any stops or holds or contact our office for more information.

You can renew your vehicle registration up to 3 months in advance.

When renewing online, you can select either by mail or pick up at the office of your choosing. If you select pick up at an office and do not pick up your registration within 2 business days, it will be mailed to the address on file.

Please note: Our goal is to process mail transactions in 2 business days. Your decal and/or license plate will be mailed via U.S. Postal Service to the address on file.

Once a transaction has been processed through the Internet, neither the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles nor our office are able to cancel the transaction.
