Certificate of Merit Recognizes Clean FY 2024-25 Audit

The Hendry County Tax Collector’s Office is proud to announce its receipt of a Certificate of Merit recognizing the office’s clean financial audit for Fiscal Year 2024–25.

A clean audit reflects the office’s commitment to sound financial management, accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and responsible stewardship of public funds. The recognition is especially meaningful as the office continues to modernize operations while maintaining a strong focus on accountability and transparency.

“Every dollar entrusted to our office comes with a responsibility to manage it carefully and transparently,” said Hendry County Tax Collector Amy Collins. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our finance team and our entire staff to doing things the right way and maintaining the trust of the citizens we serve.”

The clean audit is an important measure of the Tax Collector’s ongoing commitment to fiscal responsibility and provides a strong foundation as the office continues investing in technology, improving processes, and enhancing services for the Hendry County community.

Collins thanked the employees whose daily attention to accuracy, accountability, and proper financial procedures contributed to the successful audit.

“This is a team accomplishment,” Collins said. “Strong financial operations don’t happen because of one person or one department. They are the result of an organization-wide commitment to accountability and excellence.”
